It’s now coming towards the end of March and I’ve reached 65,000 words.
Progress is much slower now as I’m trying to figure out where the story is going. There’s been a fairly dramatic twist (after going to see my friend Andy Trigg and receiving some firm but well-received feedback on what I had written up to that point).
The twist is now taking the story in a slightly different direction and it’s rather taken me by surprise too so I’m mulling over the implications. Then I can get going again. My aim at this stage is just to get it finished. I know it will need a ton of editing then,. but if I can get it finished I’ll pleased.
Hopefully some inspiration will come shortly!
